## August 14, 2026

* Shipped **Account Payment Type Switch** — switch between **Subscription** and **Pay as you go** on the fly from Manage → Billing or account profile settings, without losing data. See [Payment Type Switch](/learn-more/payment-type-switch).
* Released **Reasoning** — enable structured internal planning on supported models for higher-quality answers on complex tasks. See [Reasoning](/capabilities/reasoning).
* **Pay as you go** API responses now include **usage tokens in and out** so you can track input and output token usage per request.
